Sweet Venom
An adult story set in Heavy Weapons that follows Diego Harley as he gets tangled up in a brand new and devastating threat, that swallows everything it touches... one way or another. Sweet Venom is a story of redemption and growth, following a cast of anti-heroes and villains as they explore who they really are and come to terms with what they are capable of. Sweet Venom is an unusual mix of genres, dipping into action, romance, horror and thriller, with some lighter touches of comedy here and there.

Author Disclaimer
I don't believe in ambushing people with content they do not enjoy or want to partake in. In the interest of keeping my potential customers informed, I want to outline roughly what type of sex scenes are featured within Sweet Venom without spoiling the story. On that note, all sex scenes can be skipped without impacting the storyline. So if you like the sound of Sweet Venom, but don't share the sexual tastes, I can still recommend reading.

Sweet Venom uses a colour-coded warning system to allow readers to choose which sex scenes they to enjoy, as per the below:

Hazard Green - Most likely to be vanilla sex, male on female scenes or light futa scenes, not involving their hermaphroditic nature, such as oral or hand play.

Hazard Amber - Scenes can now feature the hermaphroditic nature of certain characters, presented in consensual situations. Likely to be futa on both male & female with stronger flavour sex compared to Green with size difference featuring frequently.

Hazard Red - Scenes present more fetish based content, with the potential for soft non-consensual sex also present. Fetishes may include but are not limited to bondage, corruption, lactation, hard domination and humiliation.

Hazard Black - Is reserved for scenes that feature unusual/bizzare fetishes or alien anatomy, including any scenes that feature rape. Sweet Venom does NOT have any scenes that involve bestiality, children, bodily waste, vore or NTR.

Sweet Venom FAQ
This section can feature minor spoilers in order to answer specific questions. If you are spoiler conscious, I suggest skipping this section
Can I still read Sweet Venom if I don't enjoy hermphradite/futa content?
Absolutely. As mentioned, sex scenes are written in a way where you'll know who's having sex and under what context, but you can skip the act itself if its not to your taste. You can skip every sex scene and still understand everything.
How frequent are the sex scenes?
They vary in frequency but I would say on average, you should expect one every 5-8 chapters or so.
I'm on the fence about the amber scenes, can you tell me more?
The amber scenes mostly feature futa on male scenes, focusing on size difference and all the fun that comes with it. The Controllers are often much larger than the other main cast, both in terms of height and sexual equipment. Its messy, intermate, fun sex in often involves submitting to an alien mistress for great pleasure.
Do I need to know anything about Heavy Weapons before reading Sweet Venom?
Not at all. If anything, Sweet Venom is a perfect entry into Heavy Weapons and is written in a way to avoid massive lore dumps whilst still bringing you into the universe. It is completely beginner friendly, no prereading required.
Are you ever going to continue the original Sweet Venom?
So technically the Sweet Venom i'm presenting is a rewrite of a story I wrote back in 2011 under the same name. I decided to redo the entire thing as I made lots of errors in my original story but thought there was something salvageable. I will not be continuing the original however. A big thank you to all those who enjoyed reading it, but my effort is fully focused on the new Sweet Venom, not the true original.
What made you scrap the original version?
The magnitude of my previous mistakes. The original wasn't written in one go, it was written in bursts over the course of 7-8 years when I had the effort and energy to do so and that made planning it a complete nightmare. Truth be told, I didn't really plan it at all. I'm great at coming up with scenes, ideas and worlds, but stringing those things together into a coherent storyline is difficult and I had made some serious missteps along the way. Things like Plasia just randomly appearing on the escape ship in the original when she clearly wasn't involved in the escape for example. Originally, I planned only to rewrite the first few chapters to turn them into something I'd be happier to share with people I knew in real life, but as the process started, I realised that my writing had changed so much since it first started that the shift from new>old writing would induce whiplash at best. It was at that point that I knew a complete refresh was my best option. Beyond that, it also excited me. I've always loved SV, I love the characters and the storylines I've created. The chance to do them again, with more skill and planning this time was super exciting for me.
